As a creator across different areas, including music and art, my approach to most things is from an interest and understanding of catharsis and healing from a trauma-informed space. Each creative thread exists on the same loom. My relationship with the tarot is ever-evolving and one of deep trust which gets passed on to you.
Welcome to Visobel Tarot!
The cards and I have been friends for many years now, and as a Tarot consultant I love being able to help you to feel clarity around whatever is moving through your life portal at any given time. I’m a very visual person and love a good analogy (or thirty!) and the cards are constantly surprising me with new ways of seeing. Tarot is an expression of our subconscious that reflects on the aspects of life we're all familiar with, as well as being a great tool to connect more deeply with our own intuition. Essentially, the 78 cards represent the story of life, from the big things to all the juicy bits that happen in the middle - the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful, the happy and the painful, and so on it goes.

It was very validating to what I was feeling, and also helped put into words feelings and thoughts I’ve had around many things in my life. There were questions the cards knew I had deep down in my subconscious way out of my reach. They also gave me some home truths I needed to hear. Vanessa has a connection to her decks and can interpret them so well and put messages in a way someone is able to hear them properly. There are many different decks…
Different decks can help to express some of those stories in different ways that can help us, but at the most basic level, they are reflections of our lives, and they can really help us to look left, right, behind us, up, down, and everywhere in between. When I say look left, I mean to widen our peripheral; walk around life without the blinkers on and see the greater picture a little bit. You know, we’ll often go to a film or the theatre, to a concert, or we’ll buy an album or read a book, and so often it’s because we’re looking to experience something, looking to hear somebody else’s story so that we can see our own, and the cards play a similar role, allowing you to resonate with something, someone, or a situation, and in that moment you have an opportunity to widen your peripheral, not just literally but also emotionally, psychologically, and intuitively, allowing you to tap into something you perhaps inherently already knew or had never thought of before!
I’ve been very attuned to my intuition since I was a wee lass, and so as an intuitive Tarot Reader and consultant, the time I've spent getting to know and connect with the cards – and they with me – across several different decks is a continually evolving relationship of trust. I’ve been asked before if I’m a psychic but I personally choose not to focus on the term as it’s quite often misunderstood. Etymologically though, psyche just means ‘of the soul’ and so to be able to read the soul is, for me, a strong definition of intuition.
There are many different ways that readers approach the cards. For me, they’re not about predicting the future, your choices are your own, but it’s showing different energies surrounding what’s going on, different paths you can choose, different ways of looking at things, and different perspectives. But the choice is always yours.

I do most readings online via Zoom or sent as mp3 audio recordings as it gives more flexibility with time both for you and me, and often people enjoy being in the comfort of their own home!
An email reading is also available where you’ll be sent a written reading as a pdf including photos of the cards.
In-person private readings in the Oslo/Nesodden area in Norway are currently only available as event bookings or occasionally as a guest reader at Spirit Shop, Nesodden ✨ (On that note, if you are a business in the healing/therapy/yoga industry with a room to rent part-time, feel free to send me a mail!)
